    For All Mankind Completed!

Whew..it has been a long road but the film is finally completed. It took nearly a year and a half of pre-production and development, ten blisteringly instense days of shooting in October and several months of detailed post work - but For All Mankind has finally come to the big screen.

The film premiered to an estatic audience on Wednesday, March 25th at NYU’s First Run Film Festival. Although FAM didn’t win the festival, it was named one of the finalists by the faculty and was definitely and audience favorite. Projected for the first time at NYU in 2k High Definition, the film wowed a crowd of nearly four hundred.

Director Dan Clifton has struck a deal with Whitemarsh Township to screen the film as part of their Movies in the Park series this summer. The film is slated to screen in Miles Park on Friday August 7th as a precursor to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Definitely an appropriate pairing.

    For All Mankind Finished!

    Greetings All,

After two months of editing, special effects, sound design and adding original music - For All Mankind is finished. It will officially premiere at the NYU First Run Film Festival in March but there will also be screenings in NY, Philadelphia and LA over the summer.

Check the group and official website for more information on when it will be shown. If you worked on the film or were in it, you will receive a special edition DVD with commentary and the soundtrack sometime over the next few months. The soundtrack will also be available on itunes and is ridiculously bad ass.

Again, thanks for all of your help!

    Dan

    For All Mankind Post-Production Update

It’s been two months since principal photography wrapped on For All Mankind and a lot has changed since then. Editor Rob Malone and I have been working pretty hard on the edit of the film and we are close to a final cut. Our main goal is to have the entire film ready for the NYU First Run Film Festival deadline of January 26th.

After the edit is complete, composer Siddhartha Barnhoorn, Sound Designer JR Skola, Colorist Vlad Kucherov and Special FX Supervisor Perry Kroll will take over the post process in the new year.

Below are some screenshots from the film so far.
